Review: Meguriaeta Kiseki

Meguriaeta Kiseki is originally performed by An Cafe. As for Cafekkos, fans of An Cafe, know this song as a very touching song performed at Bou's last live. Hope you do all enjoy this song as it was been reviewed and cried at the same time because of the very touching lyrics.

English Translation

In the endlessly stretching blue sky we are together
Continue fighting the anxiety you have towards a never ending future

I will give your injured, thirsty heart water without trying to hide it

At sad times, look, we’re together let’s divide the pain and cry
Even when you feel all alone, we will be waiting for you

What sort of things can we possibly do within so short a time
Occasionally in life we put our lives on the line and try our best

Because we sweat because we cry it gets hot so let’s laugh at a priest’s stole

Let’s try to believe, look, we’re together It all starts with a smile
Let’s make a promise that sometime you will become a gentle wind

I will bring your injured and thirsty heart hidden water

At sad times, look, we’re together Let’s divide the pain and cry
When you feel lonely we will be waiting for you
After this and before, we are always together our eyes reflect the other’s because It’s all love
This accidental meeting is a miracle Hold me tightly and let's live on
After this and before, we are always together
This accidental meeting is a miracle

The song represents that meeting someone is destined. For example, you know me. Then, we are destined to meet, to cherish each other and to love each other. In spending our short years, it is great to meet someone that you didn't expect to meet. You had met an arrogant bastard, an ideal-type of boyfriend, a who-knows-where somebody, an airhead. Yes, we're destined to meet them whether we like it or not. Learn to appreciate the existence of other people around you. You might not know the blessings that might come in your way because of them.

Get inspired with the song that An Cafe has performed. In their case, they were really grateful that they met someone like Bou (ex-guitarist). Without him, there will be no An Cafe in which we, fans, adore and idolize. Without him, he wouldn't meet his great band mates who eventually became his friends.

fraility.

Sometimes, I don't know to myself if I'm stressing myself over various things. I am revising my research paper since it has always mistakes and we are doing our own individual outputs. But, there's always homeworks and projects on other subjects, so that's why I can't manage my time wisely. I really don't know what to do know. I think I'm going nuts. Oh please, help me cope with the reality of life. After all, I chose to be in that school. I must survive that school in order to graduate as if to tell my teachers that I surpassed all of the hardships and prepared for my college life in the city. Honestly, I am afraid. Yes, I still don't want to go to college (a future blog post will be posted regarding this one).

I'm always thinking crap regarding to school. Maybe, I really don't like school. It never brings amusement to my life. Well, that's the real purpose of the school. To educate and not to entertain or bring social life status to students.

This week's feature is: Alice Nine

Alice Nine is a Japanese rock band under visual kei, boy bands wearing make-ups and focused on their stage appearance. At first, I really don't like them since they look "emo-ish" to me. But, when I tried watching one of their music videos, I liked them. Try to listen on their songs. You might not dance to the beat like An Cafe or convey your emotions with the song like Utada Hikaru, but you'll find yourself more and more interested on them. You want to learn about their music more and more. Why don't you give them a shot?

Ah, back to my original topic: being stressed at school. The five-day vacation is not enough for the students to rest. I really want to rest. But that seems impossible, isn't? How I wish March would come up soon. I really want to get out of fourth year high school. I'm always crying out every night hoping that my research would end up soon. I really don't want it. Who doesn't anyway? *sighs more* Blog is a site in which you can express your own thoughts, right? Am I not allowed to share my own thoughts here? Do I have no freedom to say something? I need to let these words out or else I might end up retarded. To be honest, I'm not willing to share my insights to my everyday companions in school since they might think it's boring or out of the topic or it doesn't interests them at all. So, I just keep my insights to myself until it bursts out which brings disaster. Blogging can make me feel wonderful even just a little.

To be continued...

Negai's Personal Blog

"Make your wish come true"
http://negai.blogdrive.com

Sounds familiar? Maybe you heard it on an anime series or something that suddenly bursted out of my mouth. Nah, dope. It is the slogan of my band, Negai (which means "wish" in Japanese).

If you'd ask what instrument do I handle, then it's the microphone itself. Yes, I'm the vocalist and it's hard to believe, right? Nobody wants to do it, so I volunteered to have myself as the vocals to bring power and dignity to the band. Plus, I'm a thick-faced individual despite of my quiet demeanor. *laughs*

"This is Denise speaking. May all the people allow us to sing out our voices and rock out the tunes as we bring music in our own definite ways."

I've always dreamed that I am in a band wherein I can fully express myself in music. But, there is no liberty through my voice. I can sense that no compassionate melody is running through my vocal cords. Maybe I'm listening on too much damned things they dictate to me. After all, this is one of the hardest thing of a band without a band manager.

Someday we will all graduate from high school. When that time comes, we are considered to be disbanded. Since everyone will take a different path from others. As of this moment, I would like to thank all the people who comprised Negai of what is it today. You have my deepest gratitude.

Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei
さよなら 絶望先生
Goodbye, Mr. Despair

I'm in DESPAIR!

It is a comedy about a teacher who takes all aspects of life, language and culture in the most negative light possible. It satirizes politics, media, and Japanese society.

It revolves around a very pessimistic high school teacher named Nozomu Itoshiki who, at the very beginning of the series, tries to hang himself on a sakura tree. Despite this effort of self-destruction, he is saved by an extremely optimistic girl known only as Kafuka Fuura (though in her effort to save his life, she almost kills him). She explains to him that it is simply unimaginable that he would hang himself on such a nice day, especially in front of such beautiful trees. She decides to nickname Nozomu "Pink Supervisor" (桃色係長 Momoiro Kakarichō), and offers to pay him fifty yen to call him by that nickname. After having enough of the strange girl, Nozomu bolts to the school and starts his homeroom class, but the attempt to escape was in vain as he finds that the girl is one of his students. Not only that, but Kafuka is just the tip of the iceberg: each and every student in his class represents a new personality quirk or bizarre obsession, posing challenges that the suicidally-inclined teacher must overcome in spite of himself.

Each chapter or episode of the series revolves around a particular aspect of life, Japanese culture, or a common phrase in the Japanese language. Typically, this involves the subject being taken either to its most logical extreme (a discussion of amakudari, the practice of "descending" from the public to the private sector, results in Nozomu "descending" until he reaches his previous life), or taken literally (in Nozomu's family, omiai, normally a meeting between a potential match in an arranged marriage, is instead a marriage concluded by eye-contact). On other occasions, Nozomu challenges his students to think about the negative aspects of something usually considered positive. These in-depth, off-kilter analyses (along with the reactions of the students according to their own personality quirks) are usually brought to a head with a punchline based on the overall premise, or more rarely, a non-sequitur gag or piece of fan service.

While ostensibly set in the present day relative to its original serialization, the manga utilizes a variety of aesthetic tropes that evoke the early-to-mid Shōwa period. This is exemplified by the main character's consistent wearing of a kimono and hakama (largely relegated to special events in modern Japan), but is also evident in stylistic choices such as the anachronistic appearance of architecture, vehicles, and technology such as televisions. Chapter title pages are drawn to resemble karuta cards, with an illustration in a silhouetted kiri-e style. Chapter titles are oblique references to literature, modified to suit the needs of the chapter. The anime carries this further through a washed-out, grainy visual style that mimics film, and frequent use of katakana (rather than hiragana) as okurigana. The anime also regularly refers to the date as though Emperor Hirohito were still alive, such that Heisei 20 (the twentieth year of Emperor Akihito's reign, or 2008 by the Gregorian calendar) becomes "Shōwa 83".

The anime has already two seasons: Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei and Zoku Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei

If you have a free time and you want to put yourself into the pessimistic side, this anime is right for you.

Misadventures to Subic Bay, Philippines

Yeah, we're off to Subic Bay, Philippines. Actually, it is our first field trip this year (the last field trip for the seniors, actually).

|| Currently listening to: Kakusei Heroism ~The Hero Without A Name~ by An Cafe -- 2nd Opening Song of Darker Than Black ||

The picture on the right shows the view of going to Subic Bay when we're still on the bus. You can see that it will rain soon enough. True, it did rain. But, we enjoyed it.

Yeah, I still feel sleepy in here and my chaotic classmates are doing anything to keep them un-bored. I remembered that gore movie that we watched when we're traveling. Jerice and Gerlyn can't stand to watch or even listen to it. The technique in watching a gore movie is not to focus on the movie even though you're watching it. Like me, I'm focusing on eating my chips while watching it. Just don't put up the volume or I might puke. (laughs)

Our destinations are Ocean Adventure, Zoobic and Royal Subic as a Duty Free Spree! Alright, it's time to cite everything about them. ^_^

I went to school 15 minutes before the departure time, since I really don't like to wait that long. I want to be seatmates with Eugene, but he was always talking about me and Jake should be seatmates, I agreed to him even though Jake wasn't around yet. We're already on the bus and Eugene was my seatmate with Errus, so Eugene's plan to make me and Jake as seatmates failed (evil laugh). We left Maragondon, Cavite 4:05 in the morning (I guess since I was too sleepy to grab my phone to check the time). The exciting part being in the bus is that you're so sleepy that it was showing some horror/gore movie. "It is scrumptous!", I said while trying to mock my seatmates, "come on, we must eat to enjoy the movie." I can feel Eugene was about to throw up despite from drinking a chocolate drink and I felt that Errus is going to strangle me anytime because I was describing everything that I saw in that movie (since they hung their heads down or they faced at the back to talk to the other at the back).

After some hours of travelling, at last we had reached NLEX. I was going to throw up because of too much boredom. I tried to sleep, but it was very uncomfortable in my position. On your left side, you can see an excerpt what it is like inside the bus. Yes, we're dying to go out now. But, we need to wait and wait for a long long long time.

After long hours of waiting inside the bus, we're finally in Subic. First destination, it is Ocean Adventure. The home of dolphins and sea lions in North Luzon. It was fun. We watched the sea lion and dolphin show there. Also, it rained which added the effect of watching the dolphin show more thrilling.

Next is Zoobic, which I only heard screams. Now, why? I kept seeing tigers and Gelai and the gang we're shouting like eeekk. Ok, I am joining the shouting/screaming brigade. That's it, I guess? Aside in feeding the crocodiles and tigers, we plunged into the plushie station where all plush animals are located. Sadly, I didn't bought any from it. Since, I already have one at home.

Lastly, we went to Royal Subic Duty Free. I just bought Pocky, while my companions really shopped. Whoa! Yes, they're rich. *sigh* I wish I had a lot of money to buy things like chocolates like them. I'm so filled with envy. But, it's ok. I'm not really into chocolates. In fact, I'm not a chocoholic. I'm just a plain sweet lover that really munches candies and not chocolates.

That's it! x3

Paranoia

[Currently doing: Introduction and Methodology chapters for Research]

Tired.
Most tired.

Can I have a break? I think I can't since I still have a lot of homeworks to do.
*sigh*
I still have a lot of graphic requests to do.
Yes, I am doing graphic requests in Crunchyroll only since I still don't know the proper way on graphic designing.

UPCAT Experience

University of the Philippines College Admission Test known as UPCAT is one of the hardest college admission tests ever since many aspiring students all-over the Philippines are taking this one. University of the Philippines is known being a prestigious university here in the Philippines and its level of tertiary education had made a name along with Ateneo de Manila University along the world.

I took my UPCAT in Imus Pilot Elementary School, Nuevo Ave., Imus, Cavite on 6:00 in the morning up to 12:00 noontime. If you're wondering what is it look like to take it, well I'll be generous enough to tell you my experiences and give some tips for those who will aspire to take UPCAT next year.

BEFORE TAKING THE TEST:

  • Wear comfortable clothes since you'll be sitting there almost 4-5 hours in just taking the test proper. I saw some students that are wearing household clothes just to make themselves comfortable enough (But if you want to check out some hotties, you may wear fashionable clothes with a famous clothing line to make you look extravagant).
  • Be sure that you ate your breakfast or lunch before going to your test area because when you're already at the test proper, you can't eat during the exams since you're too pre-occupied in answering the test. But if you can handle it, carry on. Go and die of starvation.
  • The security guards there will tell you to give your cellphones and other electronic devices to your companions. What I did was I switched my cellphone into silent mode and told them that my cellphone is with my father. Don't worry, they don't check bags just like in department stores.
  • Feel free to look around on your test area.
  • When you're already at your test area, take a seat and stare at the blackboard with the UP's website there to kill your time of waiting.
  • If you want to be seatmates with the one you know, at the first that you enter the building, you must be behind or in front of him/her so you can be seatmates. Sometimes, the proctor changes the seats. Stay quiet and don't look at the one you know so the proctor won't change your seat (My seatmate was Dianne Patricia S. Martin, my classmate during my 3rd year high school).
TAKING THE TEST:
  • Listen to the instructions of the head proctor. Listen to her "holy sermon" teachings (since the way the head proctor speaks like we're in a church!).
  • Read the Instruction Booklet and race the head proctor reading it. Think of it as a Theology class.
  • If you want a VIP treatment, fill up your answer sheet very slowly so that the proctor will get irritated at you. Lucky are those who have long names.
  • If you don't know the answer in a certain question, skip it first. Time is very precious. If you think you can still answer the skipped question, go for it. If time's up, don't answer it anymore since it is right minus wrong.
  • If you're already done in one subtest, look at your seatmate and brag something to him/her quietly to distract him/her, well if that is you know the person. If not, just look in front of you and look on how he/she answers her test paper.
  • If you can't take it anymore, eat mentos or lolipop (strawberry! LOL).
  • If you're answering the Mathematics subest and your scratch paper is filled up with your computations and doodles since you used it during your free time, ask for the proctor for another sheet of paper.
  • Don't read the entire article in Reading Comprehension subtest, it is taking your time. But if you want, read the entire selection.
  • Throw the candy away if you're very frustrated in one problem in Geometry or Trigonometry.
  • Try to look for a Pre-Calculus or Calculus in the Mathematics subtest, you'll find yourself being an idiot for following this one.
AFTER TAKING THE TEST:
  • Since your brain damage caused your brain to be liquified, think of a way to get rid of it by selling your "specialized lugaw" to people around you.
  • To bring back your old self, look for the things that interests you. Like me, I went to Mall of Asia afterwards to rejuvinate myself.
  • If you spot your crush, ask him/her his/her mobile phone number also let him/her define love in your slumbook.
  • Rant about some problems yo your Math teacher since the answers to the problem are not in the choices.
That's it. It was a tiring but hideous day for me.
I'm taking De La Salle University-Manila next.
