As a celebration of An Cafe's 5th year anniversary, they give out their blow-out to Caffekos as a concert named ANCAFESTA '08 SUMMER DIVE.
Who are those people?
An Cafe (pronounced as Antikku Cafe) is a Japanese pop/rock band which are usually described as visual kei. They are signed under Loop Ash Records. I don't need to write another article about them because I already did a blog spot about them. Check out my blog archive from last year.
Get ready to gear up your guns and your Kizuna towels because An Cafe will make every Cafekko to be NYAPPY!
The video above is the first part out the 11 parts uploaded in YouTube of the ANCAFESTA '08 SUMMER DIVE DVD. You will see here how the mob of girls are ready to support their idols. I liked here every band member's entrances. It gives them individual popularity, so that no one would be underrated. They started off their concert with one of their popular singles, 'Maple Gunman'. Why 'Maple Gunman'? I won't answer that. Why won't you check the video yourself? Tell me what you think afterwards.

After offering every Cafekko a love letter in " MY ♥ LEAPS FOR "C" ", An Cafe produces another single that would knock down everyone who expects them on what they're made of. From the album of Harajuku Dance Rock, AROMA will be on the first track. I'm sure many Cafekkos are shocked of the sudden change as if they're trying to ask themselves: "What happened to the upbeat, lively An Cafe I knew? Why are they using a very dark, gothic theme on their latest promotional video?"
I was thinking that Miku got the idea from reading too much Kuroshitsuji manga (laughs) or mimicking his idol, Ciel Phantomohive, the lead character in the said manga.
Talking about the promotional video, I think Miku's voice has improved a lot. Thinking of the way he delivered the song fits well on his looks and voice tone. Even though, I am missing their wacky side in this PV. It's about time to get serious, even once, I guess? They will be not An Cafe without the cute and wacky stuffs, like their live performances in NYAPPY in the World. By the way, the burning of the black rose gives them a more serious and matured get-up. I'm sure everyone couldn't resist everyone's cuteness especially to Miku (laughs again).
The album will be released on March 13, 2009. I was thinking to buy this Harajuku Dance Rock album, but I think it would be good for me to buy the ANCAFESTA '08 SUMMERDIVE DVD rather than an album. Log on to http://www.ancafe-web.com for more details.

It's a good song which you'll find yourself dancing in their rhythm (that's why they play "dance rock", doh!). If you show interest in Japanese music, at least give this awesome female-looking guys a chance. I'm sure, you won't regret it.
To the anti-An Cafe: We are not forcing you to check on them and flame them. Yes, most of their fans are girls. But, it doesn't mean that we're dumb. Only those people who don't understand the essence of having An Cafe as their idol won't understand because they're proven to be idiots. So, shut the hell up!
Meguriaeta Kiseki is originally performed by An Cafe. As for Cafekkos, fans of An Cafe, know this song as a very touching song performed at Bou's last live. Hope you do all enjoy this song as it was been reviewed and cried at the same time because of the very touching lyrics.

The song represents that meeting someone is destined. For example, you know me. Then, we are destined to meet, to cherish each other and to love each other. In spending our short years, it is great to meet someone that you didn't expect to meet. You had met an arrogant bastard, an ideal-type of boyfriend, a who-knows-where somebody, an airhead. Yes, we're destined to meet them whether we like it or not. Learn to appreciate the existence of other people around you. You might not know the blessings that might come in your way because of them.
Get inspired with the song that An Cafe has performed. In their case, they were really grateful that they met someone like Bou (ex-guitarist). Without him, there will be no An Cafe in which we, fans, adore and idolize. Without him, he wouldn't meet his great band mates who eventually became his friends.
Ever heard a band named "An Cafe"? It sound weird, right? Actually, it's a Japanese pop/rock band that is labeled independently on Loop Ash. They've been described as oshare kei band, a subset of visual kei.

Kanon, Yuuki, Miku, Takuya, and Teruki
It was formed on 2003 with Kanon, Miku and Bou as the founding members later joined by Teruki after leaving his former band, Feathers-Blue. But, Bou disbanded and thus, Takuya and Teruki were officially announced that they were the two new members where An Cafe would take their overseas tour in Europe on 2008.
They produce good pop and rock music culture. It seems like its an anime original soundtrack but it is not. Behold the wonders of Japanese rock. I really do hope that An Cafe can share their music here in the Philippines.
