FM Static - Tonight

I remember the times we spent together
on those drives
We had a million questions
all about our lives
and when we got to New York
everything felt right
I wish you were here with me
tonight

I remember the days we spent together
were not enough
and it used to feel like dreamin'
except we always woke up
Never thought not having you
here now would hurt so much

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin' you, holdin' you, holdin' you tonight

I remember the time you told me about when you were eight
And all those things you said that night that just couldn't wait
I remember the car you were last seen in
and the games we would play
All the times we spilled our coffees
and stayed out way too late
I remember the time you SAT AND told me about your Jesus
and how not to look back even if no one believes us
When it hurt so bad sometimes
not having you here...

I sing,
"Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin' you, holdin' you, holdin' you tonight"

I sing,
"Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up
I need your loving hands to come and pick me up
And every night I miss you
I can just look up
and know the stars are
holdin' you, holdin' you, holdin' you tonight"

I am really touched with the lyrics of the song. It managed to comfort my heart full of pain and sorrow. Somehow, I missed those moments with him. Well, this is what I get for regretting those kind of things. Now I sound too emo, spank me please.

This is a song to those who are still in love with their past relationships. To those who doesn't want to let their past go and look for their future. Will I be able to look for my future if I keep returning to my past? Will I still be able to put my past to be my future?

That's it.
I'm depressed.
Someone, please, make me happy.
Just for a little while.

Sparkle

If you are alone in your saddest moment in your life, who would you like to express your thoughts into? This is the time you call your friends to share the pang in your chest to lighten your burden. Friends are there in your happiest and saddest time in your life. They are there to share the moments wherein you will be not able to forget in your entire life. Picking up a good pack of friends is the best.

Have you ever experienced treating someone as a friend but they don’t treat you one? I am not pertaining to those who have betrayed you. Sometimes, there are people wherein they are showing off that they are attached to you and call you ‘friend’ but only taking advantages of what you have and do not matter on what you feel or act. It is painful enough to hear them laughing at a distance, wishing that you are one of those people that also laughs even at the corniest jokes ever heard.

If I had a friend whom I treasured the most, it would be my plush toys. Now, you must be wondering why not a name of a person? It is because that no one could be able to understand my own perspective. No one can able to fully understand of what I feel. I am not able to express my own regrets and sorrows to somebody right away. So it gets piled up until it explodes like a bomb. Nobody could ever give me advices or even listen to my heartaches just like a friend that I always imagined. I’ve always thought that friends are always with you wherever you go; they are always at your side. I really quench for the love of a friend. Yeah, I sound so emotional.

Friends are like sparkling gemstones, once they lost its sparkle, they will be neglected unless someone shines them to regain their sparkle. For me, finding a friend that you’ve always wanted is a hard task especially when you are a perfectionist. Friends have their own flaws and such, we must learn on how to accept them in order to create a powerful bond that you and your friends could only share.

ASEP Division Science Fair 2008

This is what I call joining an unexpected event. I don't aspire to be a researcher. Heck! What happened is the entire opposite. I have joined this event "unwillingly".

The contestants for the ASEP Division Science Fair/Mr. and Ms. Agham 2008/Essay Writing/Poster Making Contests are the following students: Jerice Monge, Joyce Bea, Cassey Real, Lyza Quintella, Serene Bondad, Shayne Piol, Jan Bontorostro, Harlene Viray, Cherylyn Magbago, and yours truly (Science Fair). Though I don't remember their names, still Aaron, Arianne, JL and Ral joined the event for other contests.

The picture on the left is the area's parking lot. Just kidding around. This even was held at Governor Ferrer Memorial Comprehensive High School, General Trias, Cavite on October 13-14, 2008. 2 days filled with tension and cram.

True, I was kinda sweaty when I arrived here. I thought this event will kill all of your labor. My gawd, I really can't take the tension I'm feeling. So, I went around with Serene to ease the tension that we're feeling.

Alright, on the first day, we did nothing. *laughs head off* Hey, I'm seriously talking here. We prepared our tarpaulins up, but no ingress occured. Everyone seems so busy in the Science Quiz Bee that our school made for the other schools and the Mr. and Ms. Agham preparation.

Me, Jerice and Chery always hangs out in their canteen because they have this Minute Maid Orange Jiuce with real pulps of an orange fruit. "Real pulp but fake juice", this is what Jerice said. As minutes passed by, we seem to feel bored and stayed in our quarters for a while.

We met "Papa CJ" from Bucal National High School defending for his research. The story goes like this: Lyza thinks she had the most thickest research paper ever written in the whole division. We were all surprised that he had the same thickness as Lyza has, or even more pages than she had. With all Chery's guts, she went to that guy and interviewed him about his research. As I came along, all that I can remember is having a severe nosebleed from what they are talking about. This proves that I cannot be a scientist, so I aspire to be a computer programmer instead.

We went home feeling tired out of nothingness. Of course, it is a 3-day preparation with matching sleepless nights. Yeah, we didn't slept at all. How I pity myself. So, I immediately grabbed my pillow and saying goodnight to my L plushie.

Day 2 came around and we're really tensed about it. Since ingress/congress will happen today. OMG! This is not what I am expecting. While waiting, everyone's coaches went into the rooms to give a little piece of advise.

While waiting for our turn for the congress, we were trying our very best to keep ourselves boredom-free. We watched the Mr. and Ms. Agham, playing some games on Jan's laptop, texting some of our classmates since some of them had cellphones with them, and drinking Minute Maid Orange juice from the canteen. Man, we're really bored. The picture on the left is one proof. Harlene's going emo. *laughs head off* My gawd, my sanity is at stake.

Caption: "Learn to accept the way I am."

We were the last to have our congress in the Cluster 2, Applied Science, Team Category. The second one to defend our research in the whole pack of sayanistas. I really regret that day. I should have brought my Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer so I have something to read. Darn.

The congress went well. There is one question that really took my sanity off: "How much did you spend on your research?". Very nice question by the panelist himself. Now, I am going crazy as of this moment.

We didn't expect that we will claim a prize, but we did. We got 2nd place. Cool. My sanity is really at stake. This research has really made go wacky and insane.

There's no hunks/cuties in the Science fair. But there's a lot in Mr. Agham candidates! *smiles evilly*

Intramurals 2008

The long awaited break of CNSHSians from schoolwork has finally arrived. Yes, I am talking about the Intramurals. Let me cite to you all the things that happen in almost a week full of tons, aches and triumph also free from schoolworks. Corny? Yeah, I talk corny shitty things.

Day 1 [October 6, 2008]

The start of our Intramurals. Too bad we didn't have a grand parade just like the last two years. But, we had an opening program just as usual. The officials of the sportsfest explained what sportsfest is and what can every CNSHSian will benefit. Afterwards, Mr. Tomas C. Loyola, the one who is in charge in the event announced that the event is opened. To start it all off, the cheerdance competition started. Forgive my words. This is an offensive post, and I really intend to do it. So, kindly click the 'back' button on the upper left corner of your browser before I track your IP address to hack you (now, I am kidding). The emphasized phrase is really meant, though. Read at your own risk.

The cheerdance competition. All that you can hear are the screams and yells of the students, expecting their candidates to win and leave the other years struck in awe. Heck, what's good with it anyway? Even though I was one of the crowd who always yells, not scream. It'll ruin my 'oh-so-beautiful voice'. NOT.

The Green Acers (freshmen) was the first one to show their cheerdance. Of course, we are expecting to have it like an explosive bomb. Heck, it was all the opposite. Forgive my word, but it was a lousy performance. I stated out to Marco that the freshies are having a hard time to gain confidence. The atmosphere around the crowd was awkward. Of course, it was boring. The Yellow Asus (sophomores) was the last one to perform. Their cheerdance was not that 'showy'. I really don't remember how their performance went. All I remember was the girls' pompoms were falling off like...hair. Gee, compare the pompoms to hair, I must have a disease. The Red Machintosh (juniors) were always having a hard time to cheer out their name since it is long. Alright, it is best to laugh it out. After all, I am a villain indeed. At least, I was in awe when watched their cheerdance. They had great coordination with every member of the group. With matching beats coming from the complete set of drums (it was red, too!). But I was a little bored since I think they had their performance more than 7 minutes. Finally, Blue Vaio (seniors) that I'm always making typographical errors when it comes to spell out the name. Geez, I always type in 'vaoi' since I'm thinking of 'yaoi'. Do not dare to ask me what 'yaoi' is. These people also have coordination in their stances. In their every move, you can feel that they really want to win. Unfortunately, they didn't win. It's alright, though. After all, it was only the cheerdance.

The Mr. and Ms. Physique competition (did I able to spell it right? comment me) came after the cheerdance competition. Still held in the CNSHS gymnasium. I really don't remember how this competition went since I was hardly listening/looking at the event. I was really bored. I only heard that we didn't got the first place. Well, it is expected. Our competitors were looking all 'gangsta' with their outfit. Heck, I didn't even felt that I should have chills. But, I did had chills when Arianne Ramirez (Yellow Asus - Ms. Physique of Sophomore level) walked in through the isle and showed off her gun. It was a blockbuster hit!

Alright, had lunch. Nothing fun to share about that. What's fun with eating with your voracious classmates around you? Answer me. State me 1000 reasons why should I be happy to share my food with them? Now, I sound evil. Yes, I am evil and proud to be one.

What's worst with this day? It rained hard enough to stop every outdoor game occuring on the school field. So, they went to the gymnasium to watch the match of Sepak Takraw between Green VS Red. All that you can hear are the yells of the seniors to the green team and the juniors cheering for their team. Plus, you can eally feel that there is an intense war between the Red Team and the Blue Team. That's fun. I guess, this will be a cool intramurals after all. [post modified]

Day 2 [October 8, 2008]

I can totally admit that it was fun watching the girls, always trying hard to be proper and elegant enough, playing a pretty hardcore game. Guessed it? Totally, it is basketball. It was way to fun to laugh at the girls swarming off to the innocent orange ball dude. While the other seniors are way too busy to make little Joey (Sir Ces' daughter) entertained, we are laughing like there gonna be no more tomorrow. Heck, it was way too funny. I haven't got a photo or something to prove it. Sorry 'bout that.

The other games were played simoutaneously. Since I really don't want to get sunburned and all, I stayed in the canteen with JL. Yes, we are afraid to get tanned since brown isn't my skin tone color and it would not match me. While relaxing for a little bit, we heard that there's gonna be a sack race soon. So, me and JL immediaetly jotted out our comfy chairs and started wandering under the sun to search the damned court where sack race will be held. I present to you, pictures in motion!

Sack Race Girls

Sack Race Boys

Since there is a slight misunderstanding who is the winner the boys' sack race, the official decided to have a match between Yellow VS Blue. Now, feel the wrath of the seniors.

See? We're still the champion. Dumb people don't know how to accept defeat. Hmph.

Day 3 [October 9, 2008]

I still don't know what happened to the Vaio's female volleyball team captain, since it was hard to eat her ego away. Didn't I mentioned? Blue was defeated by Green. Nice, eh? But, I saw her raising her spirits up by cheering. That is the spirit!

Oh well, it rained in the afternoon. Nothing more I remember. That only means the intramurals will be extended. That's a hell yeah for those who still have games. I can smell that my free time days are over. I can really smell it now.

Day 4 [October 10, 2008]

Though, it was pretty killjoy, we are actually having our regular classes. What the heck is that? It's not fun. I want to watch the games that are left. Oh, it is still raining. So, the games are forced to be played inside the gymnasium. It was hard to get in since everyone is trying to get shelter from the rain.

It was kinda sad that the patintero boys game between Blue and Red since we lost. But, it is okay. But then, Ma'am Bisa tried to call me and my groupmate, Chery, to go to the Chemistry laboratory since we will work for our research paper. Yeah, it was completely a killjoy day. All that I can hear are the cheers and yells. I can't see the actual game since they were all blocking my view. Darn it! So, I was thinking of every excuse to go out of the Chemistry Lab and to peek what's going on to the game.

Green proved their worth to be the queens' of CNSHS volleyball. They whipped the Red team's ass. Great thing, freshies. Afterwards, it was the volleyball boys turn. Sadly, I didn't watch it since we were locked up to do some paperworks. I am hearing my batchmates cheering like "manalo, matalo, champion pa rin kami!" where I laughed out loud. Sir Mojica was also inside the Chemistry Lab alongside with Ma'am Malones. She asked who will be over-all champion in case we lost the game. I proudly said that we're still the winners even though we lose those 2 games. Sir Mojica said that there should be no awarding if Blue Vaio won. Sorry sir, you had too, 'coz we are the champions. The Red team was countering the cheer that my batchmates cheered. They were bickering things which I find funny. Yeah, call me a weirdo. I don't 'f' care.

Alright, the awarding ceremony came. No trophies, medals or whatsoever. First time in history. Again, I sneaked out of the Chemistry Lab to check out the ceremony. Everytime we are announced to be the game champion, some of us go to the stage and dance like people who perform rituals and pose to have a picture. That was a good thing to do. After the annoucning of the overall champion, almost everyone went to the stage and transformed into party animals. That's not all, it was continued inside IV - Oxygen's room which I, didn't intend to join in the party and just want to ask Michael if he has a Microsoft Office installer, joined in the fun but left immediately since I really don't belong to that kind of world.I do hope this Intramurals will be forever cherished and we all have a morale learned during the event.

Secondhand Sechzehn

Wird es gebrochen?

I am celebrating my very special day. You guessed it, today is my sixteenth birthday. My most awaited birthday. Why is that? Because life turns into a reality when I turn sixteen. Goodbye to my ruckus old self, to a new and hopefully more mature Denise.

I would like to thank the people who greeted me because they remembered me. I also like to thank the people who greeted me because they don't want to be left out, the people who forgot but still greeted me, and those who wants to be treated only. Still, my day is not yet complete. I can feel that something is missing.

This day was quite boring since it is not chaotic unlike my past birthdays. Maybe I am accustomed doing trivial chores when I am celebrating my day.

I am missing my past birthdays wherein many people are trying their best to gather my attention. Yeah, this is what I hate about people around me. Bunch of idiots. They do not know how to accept the real me. When I wanted to show my real self, they turn away and as if they don't see me. They don't take heed of my existence.

Alright, that sounds emo. I am a goth, not an emo.

I knew it, I shouldn't give them my whole trust. It only made me feel bad. Despair. Loneliness. Sorrow. I hate this life. It only made my hatred grow bigger than ever. There's nobody to talk to despite of my frustrations. Then, you'd comment saying that I'm not opening up. I am taking the initiative, but still they're going away. I can't wait until I attain my total freedom: graduation. I'm so frickin' sick of everyone's personality. Full of plastic people. Dumb shit.
